This book is about people's relationship between love and friendship. There are many different relationships in this book. Almost all of them are different. Many people have these same problems in their life too, so they should read it too. Teens will learn many things between their loves, and their friendships. Teens show how they feel about their closest relationships. Teens are interviewed in their lives and some of their stories are in this book. In this book it tells the names of the person who is in the relationship, and their age. There are many stories in this book.
I love about everything from this book. I have almost the same relationships and feelings as the people that are in this book are telling. I feel the same way as they do. The first quote I like is under the chapter Saying Good Bye. A teen is experiencing a moment when her best friend is leaving, are moving. The quote is, "Today I said good-bye to my best friend- the one person I have been able to count on for so many years." That is extremely sad. I had that experience once, when my best friend left me, but in this book it tells how she solves her problem. The Second quote is, Just One Look, That's All It Took." That was an amazing quote. That means love at first sight. The girl saw a boy and was in love because she thought he was cute. I had a moment like tat. I saw a guy that I thought was really cute, and I was in love at the first sight.
I didn't really have a favorite part of the book. I liked the entire book. All the stories in this book are fantastic. I have almost the same problems. I love this book because it tells me that I am not the only one that is sad. I don't hate this book one bit. I want other people to read this because; they probably have the same problems too.
Chicken Soup- Love & Friendship This book is a very good and interesting book to read. It has a lot of personal stories in it that help other people who are going through the same problems understand that they are not alone. The book covered many different topics and I think that's what made it so good. The different topics were; Falling In Love, Breaking Up, Friendship, Tough Times, Family And Love, Acts Of Kindness, and Growing Up. All these things are very critical to a teenager and this is what they all go through.
I think the best topics in this book were Breaking Up and Family And Love. Those two were the most interesting to me. Also Friendship was very good because it shows you what other people have gone through with friendships and that one-day you will meet a stranger and they might turn out to be your best friend you ever had. Breaking Up was good because the stories were emotional. It seemed as if the short stories were happening to you and you experienced them as you read them. Also Family And Love was good. That showed you that you never know what you love till it is someday gone or something happens.
This anthology is great to read. Every short story has an important meaning to it. You will learn a lot from it. It isn't boring either. I don't like reading but this book was something I couldn't put down. Every story was interesting in its own way. I hope if you ever get the chance to read it that you do because you won't regret it.
